tert-Butyl (Z)-4-{4-[2-(benzyloxy)-1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoropropan-2-yl]-2-(prop-1-en-1-yl)phenyl}piperazine-1-carboxylate (67 mg, 0.119 mmol) was dissolved in dichloromethane (2.0 mL). Under ice-cold conditions, trifluoroacetic acid (200 μL) was added and stirred at room temperature for 0.5 hours. The reaction solution was added a saturated aqueous solution of sodium hydrogen carbonate under ice-cold conditions, and extracted with chloroform. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, and concentrated in vacuo. The obtained residue was purified by silica-gel column chromatography (chloroform). The title compound (77 mg (yield >99%)) was obtained as a white pink oil.
