To a solution of 2-{[4-(benzyloxy)phenyl]amino}-4-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine-3-carboxylic acid (221 mg) and Et3N (0.238 mL) in toluene (15 mL) was added diphenylphosphoryl azide (0.245 mL) at room temperature. The mixture was stirred at 110° C. for 4 h. After cooling, the solvent was evaporated, and the precipitate was collected by filtration to give the title compound (197 mg).
