In a flame dried round-bottomed flask equipped with a magnetic stir bar and under inert atmosphere (N2), a solution of cis-4-benzyloxycarbonylaminocyclohexane-methanol (235 mg, 0.89 mmol) in MeOH (5 mL) was hydrogenated in the presence of Pd/C (10%) at rt until completion of the reaction. The mixture was then filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure. The title compound was obtained as a colorless oil. LC-MS-conditions 07: tR=0.12 min; [M+H]+=130.26.
