A mixture of 2-fluoro-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)aniline (100 mg, 0.42 mmol) and 4-isocyanatopyridine (56 mg, 0.47 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (2 ml) was stirred at room temperature overnight. The mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate and washed with water, brine, dried over sodium sulphate, filtered and evaporated under reduced pressure to give 193 mg (100% yield) of the title compound. This crude was used in the following step without any further purification. Purity 77%.
