Procedure
In the same apparatus and procedure as Example 1 above, 0.044 g (0.40 mmol) of triethylamine, 0.60 g (4.0 mmol) of 4-fluorobenzyl chloride, and 2.71 g (20.0 mmol) of trichlorosilane were reacted at 150° C. for 40 hrs. The resulting mixture was distilled to give 0.24 g of (4-fluorobenzyl)trichlorosilane (yield; 24%).
