To a solution of 1-methyl-1,3-dihydro-benzoimidazole-2-thione (28 mg, 0.18 mmol) in DMF (1.6 mL) was added DIPEA (80 μL, 0.44 mmol) and 2-chloromethyl-1-methyl-4-phenyl-1H-imidazole (40 mg, 0.19 mmol). The mixture was heated at 90° C. for 10 minutes using a microwave synthesizer. Volatiles were evaporated and the residue was purified by preparative LC-MS to yield the title compound. LC-MS: m/z=335.3 (MH+), tR=0.51 min, method C.
