A solution of 107 mg (0.23 mmol) of (rac)-5-bromo-2-[7-oxo-4-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-[1,4]diazepan-1-yl]-pentanoic acid dimethylamide in 4 ml of CH3CN was treated with 115 mg (0.28 mmol) of 4-methyl-piperidin-4-ol (intermediate 8) and 63 mg (0.46 mmol) of potassium carbonate. After 16 h at RT, the reaction mixture was diluted with AcOEt and a white solid was filtered off. The filtrate was evaporated and chromatographed by amine-silica gel column (AcOEt:MeOH 19:1) to yield 40 mg (35%) of the title compound as yellow oil. MS: 499.2 (MH+).
