To a solution of acetic acid 2-(5-chloro-2-{2-[4-(4-fluoro-benzyl)-(2R,5S)-2,5-dimethyl-piperazin-1-yl]-2-oxo-ethoxy}-benzenesulfonylamino)-1,1-dimethyl-2-oxo-ethyl ester (0.14 g, 0.21 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (2 mL), methanol (0.2 mL) and water (0.4 mL) was added lithium hydroxide monohydrate (0.020 g, 0.48 mmol). The resulting reaction mixture was stirred at ambient temperature overnight. Chromatography on silica gel of the reaction mixture provided the title compound (0.104 g, LRMS: 556.3).
