Procedure
253 mg of compound 14b and 225 μl triethylamine were dissolved in 10 ml dichloromethane and cooled to −50° C. 140 μl methanesulfonylchloride was added and the mixture was stirred for one hour allowing the temperature to increase to 0° C. Saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate was added and the mixture was extracted twice with dichloromethane. The organic extracts were combined and dried with sodium sulfate. Evaporation of the solvent gave 308 mg of the title compound as an almost colorless liquid.
