Procedure
A solution containing the product from Example 9B (0.36 g, 0.79 mmol) in THF (8 mL) was treated with the product from Example 7B (0.33 g, 0.79 mmol), DEPBT (0.355 g, 1.19 mmol), and N,N-diisopropylethylamine (0.70 mL, 4.02 mmol), stirred at 25° C. for 16 hours, and partitioned between ethyl acetate and 10% Na2CO3 solution. The organic phase was washed with additional 10% Na2CO3 solution and brine, dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated. The residue was chromatographed on silica gel eluting with 0-50% acetone/dichloromethane to give the title compound (0.264 g, 45% yield). 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6), δ ppm 0.75 (m, 12 H), 0.94 (m, 2 H), 1.29 (m, 2 H), 1.46 (m, 2 H), 1.62 (m, 1 H), 1.80 (m, 1 H), 2.43 (m, 4 H), 2.68 (m, 3 H), 2.88 (m, 1 H), 3.08 (m, 3 H), 3.56 (m, 4 H), 3.84 (m, 2 H), 4.15 (m, 2 H), 4.34 (s, 2 H), 4.84 (d, J=5.88 Hz, 1 H), 7.03 (m, 7 H), 7.15 (m, 6 H), 7.39 (d, J=9.19 Hz, 1 H), 7.66 (t, J=7.72 Hz, 1 H), 7.83 (d, J=8.82 Hz, 1 H).
