Procedure
A solution of the product from Example 109D (0.38 g, 1.2 mmol) in dioxane (5 mL) was treated with an aqueous solution of lithium hydroxide (5.0 mL, 0.5 M), stirred for 0.5 hours at 25° C., treated with aqueous HCl (2.5 mL, 1 N), and partitioned between ethyl acetate and water. The organic phase was washed with brine and dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated to give the title compound.
