A solution containing the product from Example 128E (0.127 g, 0.159 mmol) in methanol (2 mL) was treated with Pd(OH)2 on carbon (0.035 g, 20% Pd by wt.) and HCl solution (0.12 mL, 4N in dioxane), stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere (balloon pressure) at 25° C. for 16 hours, filtered through a bed of celite® and rinsed with methanol. The solvent was concentrated to give the title compound as the hydrochloride salt, which was used without further purification.
