Procedure

Sulfapyridine Naphthoquinone Derivatives (6a, 6b, 6c). (YL1-018-1, YL1-018-2, YL1-018-9). DIPEA (52.9 mg, 0.41 mmol) was added to solution of 4-(3-Chloro-1,4-dioxo-1,4-dihydro-naphthalen-2-ylamino-N-pyridin-2-yl-benzenesulfonamide (150 mg, 0.34 mmol) in anhydrous DMF (3 ml) under inert conditions. Methyl iodide (58 mg, 0.41 mmol) was added to the reaction mixture after 5 min. and the reaction was stirred at r.t. for two days. The reaction mixture was dried under reduced pressure and purified by flash chromatography (SiO2, EtOAC in Hexane, gradient elution).
