Procedure
Preparation analogous to Example 3b. Instead of 19.5 g (40 mmol) of 9,10-bis(2-bromophenyl)anthracene, 25.5 g (40 mmol) of 1,4-bis(10-bromoanthracen-9-yl)naphthalene are used, and instead of 10.6 g (90 mmol) of pinacol, 9.9 g (90 mmol) of pyrocatechol are used. Sublimation at p=1×10−5 mbar, T=330° C. Yield: 17.7 g (25 mmol), 61.8% of theory; purity: 99.7% according to 1H-NMR.
