50-2 (0.20 g, 0.68 mmol) was first treated with trifluoroacetic acid (4 mL) for 30 minutes and then concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was then dissolved in n-butanol (4 mL) to which 35-1 (0.16 g, 0.68 mmol) and triethylamine (0.34 g, 3.41 mmol) were added and then heated at 150° C. for 18 hours. Upon cooling the solid was filtered off, washed with n-butanol, ethyl ether and then purified on a silica column to yield 50-3. Hi-Res MS: calc: 392.0958 found: 392.0949. 1H-NMR (DMSO-d6): 12.10(s, 1H); 8.43(s, 1H); 8.26(s, 1H); 6.24(s, 1H); 4.28(m, 2H); 4.15(m, 2H); 3.57(br s, 4H); 3.22(m, 1H); 2.46(t, 4H).
