To a solution of 1-[3-(4-{4-[1-(2-chloro-phenyl)-ethoxycarbonylamino]-3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl}-phenyl)-prop-2-ynyl]-5-trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (0.155 g, 0.26 mmol) in 2:1 MeOH:H2O (3 mL) was added lithium hydroxide (0.033 g, 0.79 mmol), and the reaction was stirred overnight at room temperature. The mixture was acidified with 1N aqueous HCl and extracted with EtOAc, and the combined organic layers were dried, filtered, and concentrated. The residue was purified by preparative HPLC to give the title compound. Mass spec. data (M+H)=573.
