Following General Procedure M, 5-(4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-6-phenyl-pyridine-2-carbaldehyde (Compound 57, 58 mg, 0.18 mmol), (3-amino-propyl)-phosphonic acid (25 mg, 0.18 mmol), Bu4NOH (0.18 ml, 0.18 mmol, 1 M in MeOH) and NaCNBH3 (11 mg, 0.18 mmol) in MeOH (3 ml) were reacted to produce the title compound as a white solid.
