To 5-[Hydroxy-(1-triisopropylsilanyl-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-3-yl)-methyl]-pyridine-2-carboxylic acid (4-chloro-phenyl)-amide (71, 100.0 mg, 0.19 mmol) in acetonitrile (10.0 mL) were added trifluoroacetic acid (0.20 mL, 2.6 mmol) and triethylsilane (0.40 mL, 2.5 mmol). The reaction was stirred at 80° C. for 2 hours. The reaction was concentrated and purified by silica gel column chromatography eluting with 20% ethyl acetate in hexane to give a yellow solid compound (P-0076, 5.5 mg, 8.1%).
