4 M HCl in dioxane (20 mL) was added to tert-butyl N-{4-chloro-3-[5-chloro-1-methyl-6-(3-(trifluoromethyl)piperidin-1-yl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-ylamino]benzyl}-carbamate (700 mg, 1.2 mmol) in dioxane (20 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at rt for 2 h then diluted with water and aq. K2CO3-solution and stirred for 1 h at rt. The mixture was concentrated, filtered and the filtercake was washed with water and dried to give the sub-title compound.
