tert-Butyl[3-(4-methoxypyrimidin-2-yl)-2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl]acetate from Step A (110 mg, 0.309 mmol) was dissolved in TFA (2 mL) and CH2Cl2 (2 mL) and the mixture was stirred at ambient temperature for 48 h, then concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound. MS: m/z=301 (M+1).
