Procedure

A solution of the product from step (c) (0.25 g) in dimethylsulphoxide (3mil) was treated with a 40% solution of aqueous methylamine (1 ml). The reaction mixture was allowed to stand for 18 hours at room temperature then poured into ethyl acetate (200 ml), washed with a saturated solution of aqueous brine (3×100 ml), dried and concentrated. Purification (SiO2, methanol:chloroform 1:4 as eluant) afforded the subtitle compound (0.27 g).

Workup

  1. washwashed with a saturated solution of aqueous brine (3×100 ml)
  2. customdried
  3. concentrationconcentrated
  4. customPurification (SiO2, methanol:chloroform 1:4 as eluant)
