Procedure
A solution of 1.1 g of the product of Example 5 in 20 ml of ethanol is treated with hydrazine hydrate (2 ml) for 2 hours at reflux. The ethanol is evaporated and the residue treated with 1 N NaOH then extracted with ether. The ether solution is dried and concentrated leaving a residue thatis taken up in 20 ml of ethanol and 10 ml of 6 N HCl and heated at reflux for 1 hour. The solvents are evaporated to give the title compound.
