Procedure

The compound (778 mg) obtained in Example 1 was dissolved in ethyl acetate (10 ml) and a solution of maleic acid (132 mg) in ethyl acetate (15.5 ml) and ethanol (1.55 ml) was dropwise added. After stirring overnight at room temperature, crystals were collected by filtration and dried under reduced pressure to give 723 mg of the title compound as white crystals (see Table 17).
