A mixture of [3-[4-[2-(2-furyl)-5-methyl-4-oxazolylmethoxy]-3-methoxybenzyloxy]-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl]acetic acid (400 mg), 1-hydroxybenzotriazole hydrate (180 mg), WSC (230 mg), morpholine (100 mg) and N,N-dimethylformamide (10 ml) was stirred at room temperature for 15 hrs. The reaction mixture was poured into water and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The ethyl acetate layer was washed with saturated brine, dried (MgSO4) and concentrated. The obtained colorless crystals were collected by filtration to give 4-[3-[4-[2-(2-furyl)-5-methyl1–4-oxazolylmethoxy]-3-methoxybenzyloxy]-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl]acetylmorpholine (440 mg, yield 96%), which was then recrystallized from ethyl acetate-hexane. melting point: 132–133° C.
