Procedure
A solution of 4-[3-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino)pyrrolidin1-yl]-7-chloroquinoline (214 mg, 0.62 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (5 mL) is treated with trifluoroacetic acid (1 mL). After 1 h the reaction mixture is concentrated. The residue is dissolved in CH2Cl2 (10 mL), and 4-fluorophenyl isocyanate (70 μL, 0.62 mmol) and triethylamine (1 mL) are added. The reaction mixture is concentrated, and the residue is purified by column chromatography and an aqueous work-up step yielding the title product.
