A solution of tert-butyl [4-(6-methoxy-quinolin-4-yloxymethyl)-cyclohexyl]carbamate (438 mg, 1.13 mmol) and TFA (1.5 ml) in dichloromethane (4 ml) was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The reaction mixture was poured onto ice/ammonium hydroxide and extracted with dichloromethane. The organic extracts were dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated.
