Procedure
Intermediate 15 (0.157 g) was stirred in dioxane (4 ml) containing 4.0M hydrogen chloride in dioxane (0.78 ml) for 16 h, at 23° C. under nitrogen. The solvent was removed in vacuo, azeotroped with dichloromethane (20 ml), triturated in ether and dried under vacuum to give the title compound as a pale yellow solid (0.12 g).
