Protocol T was followed using 4-Chloro-5-phenyl-3-trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazole, K2CO3, 2-Chloro-1-[4-(4-bromo-3-methoxy-phenyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-ethanone and DMF. Column chromatography using a solvent mixture (hexane/ethyl acetate=2/3:Rf=0.58) afforded the title compound as a white solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): 7.81–7.86 (m, 1H), 7.36–7.44 (m, 4H), 6.42–6.48 (d, 1H), 6.34–6.38 (dd, 2H), 5.2 (s, 2H), 3.88 (s, 3H), 3.62–3.82 (m, 4H), 3.12–3.22 (m, 4H).
