Under a N2 blanket is stirred a mixture of 296.5 g (1.5 Mol) 4(1-chloromethyl-ethenyl)-nitrobenzene, 430 g (7.4 Mol) KF, 78 g (0.15 Mol) hexadecyltributylphosphonimine bromide and 800 ml H2O, during 5 hours at 110°-112°.
