A mixture of intermediate 11 (0.017 mol) in DMF (80 ml) was stirred at room temperature. Sodium hydride (50%, 0.02 mol) was added portionwise. The mixture was stirred for 30 minutes. A mixture of 1-(4-chlorobutoxy)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-benzene (0.02 mol) in DMF (20 ml) was added dropwise. The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The solvent was evaporated. The residue was stiffed in DIPE (100 ml), filtered off and dried, yielding 3.lg (47%) of 6-[[4-[3-(trifluoromethyl)-phenoxy]butyl]thio]-3-pyridazinecarbothioamide (intermediate 12).
