To a mixture of the silyl ether 13 (52 mg, 0.042 mmol) in THF (2 mL) and pyridine (2 mL) was added HF-pyridine complex (400 μL). The reaction mixture was stirred for 3 h and was poured into saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate and was extracted with ethyl acetate (3×100 mL). The combined extracts were washed with water and brine and dried over sodium sulfate, before being filtered and concentrated.
