To a suspension of (1-(4,4-difluorobutyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-2-yl)methanol 43-5 (470 mg, 1.9 mmol), 1-cyclopropyl-1H-imidazo[4,5-c]pyridin-2(3H)-one 10-d (431 mg, 2.3 mmol) and triphenylphosphine (613 mg, 2.3 mmol) in 14 ml dry THF was added (E)-diïsopropyl diazene-1,2-dicarboxylate (0.6 ml, 2.9 mmol) at room temperature. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 16 hours. The precipitate was filtered off and washed with some diethyl ether to obtain the title product as a white powder (450 mg, 58%). m/z=399 (M+H)+.
