Procedure
To a solution of tert-butyl 4-hydroxypiperidine-1-carboxylate (44.2 mg, 0.219 mmol) in DMF (0.7 mL) was added sodium hydride (13.2 mg, 0.329 mmol). After stirring for 30 minutes, 1-(2,6-dichloropyridin-4-yl)-N,N-dimethylmethanamine (45 mg, 0.22 mmol) was added to the reaction vial. The reaction solution was heated at 100° C. overnight. The reaction solution was diluted with methanol and purified with preparative LCMS to give the desired product. LCMS (M+H)+: 370.1.
