Procedure
To a THF suspension of 2-(pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-3-yl)pyridin-4-amine (8g) was added Et3N and 4-fluorobenzoyl chloride. The reaction mixture was stirred at 50° C. for 2 hours until LS/MS indicated the desired product was the major peak. After aqueous work up, the residue was dissolved in 1 ml of DMSO and purified by preparative HPLC. The product was obtained as a solid (10 mg).
