Procedure

Sodium azide (1 g, 15.4 mmol) and 15-crown-5 (0.17 g, 0.77 mmol) were added to a stirred solution of 30e (2.9 g, 7.7 mmol) in DMF (60 mL). The mixture was heated at 85° C. for 24 h under argon atmosphere. Then DCM (300 mL) was added, the solution was washed with a saturated NaHCO3 solution (2×150 mL) and brine (3×200 mL), and dried over Na2SO4. After removal of the solvent under reduced pressure, the desired product was obtained as yellow oil, which was used without further purification in the next step.
