To a solution of compound 31g (4.2 g, 10.6 mmol) in DMF (100 mL) was added ethyl bromoacetate (2.1 g, 12.7 mmol) and K2CO3 (3.5 g, 25.4 mmol). The mixture was stirred at rt for 12 h, then water (100 mL) was added to the mixture. The mixture was extracted with EA three times and the combined organic layer was washed with brine and dried over anhydrous Na2SO4. After filtration, the filtrate was evaporated and the residue was purified by CC (hexane/EA=5:1) to give compound 31h (3.7 g, 73% yield).
