In a 10 mL heavy-walled sealed tube, a mixture of 5-bromo-6-p-tolylpyridazin-3(2H)-one (0.05 g, 0.189 mmol), 3-chlorophenylboronic acid (0.029 g, 0.189 mmol), Pd(Ph3P)4 (10.90 mg, 9.43 μmol) and K2CO3 (0.283 mL, 0.566 mmol) in dioxane (2 mL) was heated under microwave irradiation at 130° C. for 2 h. The reaction was purified by preparative HPLC to give the title compound (0.032 g). LCMS m/z=297.1 [M+H]+.
