Procedure
2.1 g of 2,6-dimethyl-4-(4-bromothiazol-2-yloxy)-phenylisothiocyanate and 0.7 g of tert-butylamine in 20 ml tetrahydrofuran are heated for 6 hours to 40° C. The batch is poured into 200 ml of ice-water and the precipitate is isolated by filtration. Recrystallisation of the precipitate from methanol affords the title compound of formula ##STR24## in crystalline form with a melting point of 143°-144° C. (compound 3.01).
