To a solution of 6-(2-Oxopiperazin-1-yl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalene-2-carbonitrile (40 mg, 0.16 mmol) and [4-(1H-tetrazol-1-yl)phenyl]acetic acid (38 mg, 0.19 mmol) in DCM (3 ml) was added DMAP (25 mg, 0.20 mmol) and EDC (39 mg, 0.20 mmol). The mixture was allowed to stir at RT for 4 hours. LC showed formation of the desired product. The solvent was removed under vacuum, and the residue was redissolved in methanol, and purified by reverse phase HPLC to give the title product. LC-MS (IE, m/z): 442 [M+1]+.
