Procedure
To a solution of 2-bromo-7-(4-chlorophenyl)-6-methoxy-5-methylbenzo[d]thiazole (8C) (135 mg, 0.37 mmol) in DMF (2 ml), was added dimethylamine in THF (2M, 0.46 ml, 0.92 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at 80° C. After the reaction finished, the reaction was cooled and concentrated. The residue was purified by silica gel column, eluting by 0-100% EtOAc in hexanes. LCMS-ESI+: calc'd for C17H17ClN2OS: 333.1 (M+H+). Found: 333.1 (M+H+).
