Procedure

According to GP1 tert-butyl 4-(2,4-dioxo-6-phenyl-1,4-dihydrothieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-3(2H)-yl)piperidine-1-carboxylate (1.88 g; compound B50) is reacted with 4-(chloromethyl)-1-ethyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole (827 mg; compound D21) in the presence of potassium carbonate (1.22 mg) in DMF (30 ml). Using WU2 the title compound is obtained after flash column chromatography [silica gel, eluent: cyclohexane/EtOAc, 1/1 (v/v)] as a solid.
