2-chloro-4-fluoronitrobenzene (350 mg), N-acetylpiperazine (0.5 ml) and potassium carbonate (500 mg) were dissolved in dimethylformamide (3 ml) and stirred at 50° C. overnight. The reaction mixture was distilled under reduced pressure to remove dimethylformamide and added with distilled water. Then, the recrystallized yellow solid was filtered and the subsequent reaction was proceeded without further purification.
