Procedure

To a solution of 4-Bromo-2-[(4-chloro-phenyl)-methylamino-methyl]-phenylamine (4.0 g, 0.012 mol) dissolved in THF (100 mL) is added triphosgene (4.4 g, 0.015 mol). The mixture is stirred at RT for 1 hours. The reaction is quenched with H2O, extracted with ethyl acetate, dried over NaSO4 and concentrated. This produces the desired compound.
