N-[6-(3-Dimethylamino-acryloyl)-7-methyl-8-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyridin-2-yl]-acetamide (Int. 25, 247 mg, 0.573 mmol) and 4-hydrazino-3-methanesulfonyl-benzonitrile (Int. 22, 181 mg, 0.86 mmol) were heated at 100° C. in a mixture of n-butanol (10 mL) and conc. HCl (0.3 mL) for 1.5 h. EtOAc was added and the mixture was concentrated in vacuo. The resultant residue was purified by preparative C18 HPLC, eluting with a gradient of 40-90% MeCN in water (+0.1% formic acid) to give the title compound as a yellow solid (10 mg).
