The product of step 1 of Example 10 (200 mg, 0.41 mmol), potassium cyanide (111 mg, 1.65 mmol), and 18-crown-6 (23 mg, 0.08 mmol) in acetonitrile (8 mL) are stirred at room temperature for 16 hours then the mixture is concentrated and purified by column chromatography on silica gel eluting with a gradient of ethyl acetate/heptane to afford the title compound (95 mg). m/z (Cl) 416 [M+H].
