A suspension of compound 2 (170 mg, 0.4 mmol), compound 2A (112 mg, 0.44 mmol), PdCl2(dppf)2 (50 mg, 0.08 mmol) and KOAc (118 mg, 1.2 mmol) in anhydrous 1,4-dioxane (6 mL) was heated at 100° C. for 60 min in a CEM microwave reactor. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was purified by preparative TLC (eluent:petroleum ether:ethyl acetate=3:1) to give compound 3 (140 mg, 70%, 67% purity) as a yellow solid.
