Procedure
100 mg ethyl 5-(3,5-dichloro-phenylsulphonylamino)-1H-indole-2-carboxylate are dissolved in 2 ml of tetrahydrofuran, combined with 2 ml 1 N sodium hydroxide solution and stirred for 48 hours at ambient temperature. Then the tetrahydrofuran is eliminated in vacuo, diluted with some water and combined with 2 ml of 2 N hydrochloric acid. The solid is suction filtered, washed with water and dried in vacuo.
Workup
- filtrationfiltered
- washwashed with water
- customdried in vacuo
