To a solution of 3-{[4-methyl-6-(methylamino)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl]amino}cyclohexanecarboxylic acid (100 mg, 0.377 mmol) was added [(2,4-dichlorophenyl)methyl]amine (82 mg, 0.47 mmol), DMAP (10 mg, 0.08 mmol) and EDCI (108 mg, 0.56 mmol). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 h. The mixture was filtered and the filtrate concentrated. The crude product was purified by HPLC to provide 55 mg (0.13 mmol, 35% yield) of the desired material as a single major racemic diastereomer. MS (ES+): m/e 423.0 [M+H]+.
