Procedure

104 mg [(3-chloro-5-ethynyl-phenylsulphonyl)-(9-ethyl-9H-carbazol-3-yl)-amino]-acetic acid are dissolved in 5 ml of ethyl acetate. 30 mg of platinum dioxide are added and the mixture is hydrogenated for 5.5 hours at 3 bar hydrogen pressure. Then the catalyst is removed by suction filtering, the solvent is eliminated in vacuo and the residue is purified by preparative HPLC.
