[5-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-3-methyl-isoxazol-4-yl]acetic acid (0.154 g, 0.52 mmol), α-methylbenzylamine (0.07 mL, 0.52 mmol), N-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-N′-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (0.120 g, 0.62 mmol), 1-hydroxybenzotriazole (0.087 g, 0.62 mmol), and triethylamine (0.22 mL, 1.56 mmol) were combined in CH2Cl2 (1.5 mL). The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 2.5 hours. After aqueous workup the crude material was purified by silica gel chromatography (0-60% EtOAc in hexanes) to give the title compound.
